Gaussian 98 A9 Benchnmark timings done by Rich Sudlow on Oct 27-28 2000. Benchmarks run on 16 processor Compaq AlphaServer GS160. named host-2000.cpqtbc.com with 64 GB RAM. Processors were 731 MHZ with 4 MB L2 cache. Disk subsytem was a hardware stripe set of (6) 10K rpm disks on a FC controller. Operating system is Tru64 Unix V5.1, Fortran is V5.3 ECO 02 RTL #389, with CMXL Extended Math Libraries for EV6, V3.6. All times listed are in seconds. These tests were performed with gaussian processes & memory locked to the same RAD by using the commands sysconfig -r ipc shm_allocate_striped=0 & runon -r 0.
